Season 2 starts with the scene in London in 1951, Diana is trying to decipher the book of life. Eventually, she hides the book under the wooden floor, Matthew plans to send Diana back to present. As Diana visits the coven and finds out Alsop is not well, her face glows when she glances at weaver though. As the execution of witches spreads out in the South, Diana also finds out that Agnes has been tortured in her absence. Goody abruptly drops the news of Diana being pregnant. Matthew and Diana realize their unfamiliarity with the place and leave for the present of their own time. That means they’ll have to leave jack behind, While Susanna and the group are tasked by goody to train Diana. Diana has already mastered 3 knots, it’s still not enough, to understand the crux of the spell as she tries the spell to conjure the Rowan tree again, but something like a phoenix enters her stomach and dissolves. As Matthew sets off for the court, he bows down before the queen, she senses that something in Matthew has changed, Queen is unhappy due to Edwards’s demise. While back in the court, Matthew reveals to Elizabeth, Diana is time-spinner, while helping with her toothache, she understood what he’s saying and sets him free when the darkness lifts ups. On the other hand, jack has already replaced the book of life, which safe, but Diana is definitely in trouble. Louisa shows up and tries to kill Diana, and kit just points the gun at her, as she recites his poem she promises him to tell his future, Seeing this she shoots Diana herself, but the phoenix burst forth from her body and engulfs them in the fire. When Matthew and Hubbard show up, they try to control Diana from doing anything she will regret. As Matthew’s bloodlust grows he holds Louisa by her neck, Diana tells him to let her off.
