Last time we saw how stubborn Longbottom can be. The same goes for the friend he was meeting after a long time. They both had decided to bury a hatchel from years ago but it turned into a night of confrontations to figure out who is the best writer and who is responsible for the mess of the past. Anyway, things did turn out great but how did they? Let’s break down the previous episode of the show. Then we will move on to figure out what we can expect from the upcoming Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2 Episode 8.
Recap For Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2 Episode 7
Previously on Mythic Quest, the episode opened up with Rachel’s new aims in life. She acknowledges her nervousness which leads her to turn a number of people’s requests down. So she has decided to say yes to everyone. Starting off with Mr.Longbottom who she is driving to meet his old friend. They are going to make up for their old fight. But are they because at least Longbottom doesn’t plan to do so. Reaching their friend’s house, they are greeted by Magda, the nurse of Longbottom’s friend Peter. As the friends reunite, there is a sense of tension that can be felt from miles away. Especially when they are reminiscing the old days. This leads Longbottom to excuse the ladies. The old men talk over and were expecting each other to apologize. But none of them wants to. It comes to the point where Peter reveals Longbottom didn’t come to his wife’s funeral. As they discuss each other’s work, Longbottom leaves the room in arrogance. Longbottom further plans to sleep with Peter’s nurse to make him regret it. Things boil again at the dinner table. We realize Peter stopped writing after Anne’s death until Longbottom finds a screenplay of Peter’s last book in a drawer. This leads him to confront Peter who confesses he brought him because he is dying. This leads him out of the house and asks Rachel to drive away. Amidst the drive, he passes out dreaming of Ann and wakes up at Peter’s house again. He meets Ann’s daughter Jenny who thought of patching things up in the first place. She states his so-called granddaughter as in Rachel left him after she thought he passed out. She also goes on to reveal Ann never forgot or dispised Longbottom at all. In fact, she admired him and kept a copy of Mythic Quest. Even Jenny was shocked to see her old mother bring a video game home. The revelation leads Longbottom to forget everything and meet his friend Peter again who is on the verge of dying. He patches things up and they sit in the garden for a read of Peter’s book. Longbottom listens as Peter reads on to close the episode.
Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2 Episode 8 Release Date and Spoilers
Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2 Episode 8 is releasing on June 18, 2021, and will be available exclusively on Apple TV+. There are a total of nine episodes coming for the second season of Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet. So another episode may follow next Friday to close the season. Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2 Episode 8 is titled, “Juice Box”. The official synopsis of the episode says Ian will be presenting his half of the expansion the firm is working to. Ian has been teasing that something is about to go for time being. After all, it does as Ian lands up in hospital. Now it’s up to David to continue his legacy.
