The previous episodes revealed that Ji Yong is going to be the one who dies. Episode 12 of Mine presented very clearly the reason why each character would want Ji Yong gone. After Han Jin Ho discovers his brother’s evil hobby, he is enraged. He goes down to Han Ji Yong’s office and confronts him, but Han Ji Yong is unfazed. He tells everyone that his brother is insane and has just escaped a rehab center. Moreover, Han Jin Ho also discovers that Han Ji Yong is not even a real Han, meaning that he is not tied to the family by blood at all. Hi Soo asks Kang Ja Kyung to take Ha Joon and leave for the Stated. She does this in order to keep him away from the ugly fight that is going to ensue. Being the honest and fearless person that she is Hi Soo also confronts Ji Yong about his half-life. She bravely tells him to come and fight and not just watch like a coward. Meanwhile, Seo Hyun, tells Ji Yong to know his place when he tells her to shift her office. Hi Soo and Seo Hyun get suspicious of Mother Emma just like most fans have been. Furthermore, she sends a video of Kang Ja Kyung to all the directors that were in Ji Yong’s favor and holds a meeting. The episode ends with Hi Soo standing on the balcony while Ji Yong lies dead on the ground in his blood.
