The New line Cinema dropped the trailer today. The comment section is filled with horror, and how badly people are waiting for the film to release. Director James Wan, who started the franchise back in 2013 is also returning as the producer alongside Peter Safran. Wan is known for his style of presenting a story. He has also created other horror movies such as Insidious, Saw, and Annabelle. Wan also directed Aquaman and is currently working on Aquaman 2. The Conjuring: Devil Made Me do It Trailer- The Warren’s Encounter With New Devil

The trailer for the new movie is undoubtedly different than the previous installments. Even though the former ones are also based on a true story just like this one, we never experienced any murder. This time, the Warrens will fight a Demonic Identity but they will also solve a murder case. Based on the Arne Cheyenne Johnson case which shook the US, the trailer of the new film gives us a glimpse of devils, court, and the Warrens fighting for their lives.

The trailer begins with a man who has supposedly committed a crime. However, after conviction, he claims that he committed the crime because he was passed by a demonic entity. To look further into the situation, Ed and Lorraine step into the crime scene. The two investigate and encounter the devil, and somehow get trapped themselves. Will they be able to free themself and the others from the demonic possession? You’ll find out soon. The film is slated to release on June 4, 2021. It will release in theatres, on Imax, and on HBO Max. people will be able to enjoy the film on HBO Max for the next 31 days of its release. People with HBO Max can easily stream it, however, those who can’t reach the cinema because of the pandemic can enjoy the film by taking a subscription. The upcoming movie brings back the stars of the movie Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as world-class renowned paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren. Joining them are Ruairi O’Connor (The Spanish Princess, The Postcard Killings), Sarah Catherine Hook (NOS4A2), and Julian Hilliard (WandaVision, The Haunting of the Hill House). Michael Chavel, who earlier helmed Conjuring-adjacent film The Curse of La Llorona will direct the latest franchise. While David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2, Aquaman) has penned down the screenplay. McGoldrick has also drafted the story alongside producer, James Wan. Lastly, the characters are created by Chad Hayes and Carey W. Hayes. The film is based on the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, a murder case that took place in 1981, in Connecticut. The idea of the film was birthed in 2016, however, James Wan decided that he will not direct another part of the movie due to his busy schedule. Also, Safran announced in 2016 that the third part will not be based out of a haunted house. The development of the movie begins in 2017, and after 4 years and a whole pandemic, it is here.
