A daywalker is trying to prey on a woman. Soon enough, the two, out of the humanity within them, try to save the woman from the grasp of the creature. But after doing so, they find out that the woman being held is actually a daywalker. Her name is Nina, and the audience gets to acknowledge the vast history that she shares with Julius. As it so happens, back in the days when Julius was just a bottom feeder, it was Nina who brought her up. But now that Julius is trying to be a better creature, he also allows Nina to join their group. While the trio is still trying to find Violet, the dangerous orange dust comes in the way, and they were seen trying to protect themselves from it. The three spot a housing project nearby and decide to stay there till the surroundings become safe for them. Nina, on the other hand, is seen trying to feed off the last warm bodies that remain, and it is until when the Dracula paramilitary surrounds this house which the three are taking shelter in. Nina was not to be trusted all along as she decides that she got nothing to do with them and takes off. Meanwhile, just Axel and Julius are left while defending themselves against the larger force. Axel has always been unsure of her, and when she actually messes up their whole plan to get out alive, Axel loses his patience.
